If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and wish to share this gift with others, this may be a way. The nice thing about this activity and ministry is that you have a choice to join in group meetings held in the church hall or to work independently on your project in the quiet of your home.

Many of us know someone who suffers from an illness or other troubling situation and we may wonder what we can do. These shawls can be used to comfort someone in times of illness or sadness as well as rejoicing in births, weddings, and anniversaries.

This is an opportunity to comfort and or rejoice with people by wrapping them in God's love with a gift made lovingly and prayerfully by your hands. The shawls will be a lasting reminder to the recipients that they are not alone.

The group will determine to whom and for what reason shawls are being made for and that will change with completion of each project.
