St. Anthony Parish has succesfully used the Loreto Model of religious education of children for twenty years.  Traditional afterschool or Saturday morning classes seemed almost to be punishment for a child and didn't bring out a child's natural enthusiasm for learning.  The Loreto Model was developed at Our Lady of Loreto Parish in Worcester to address that concern.

Our program is for children who have completed grades one through eight.  We meet Monday through Friday for the last two weeks of July from 9:00 until 12:30.  Using a larger block of times allows for the possibility of music, recreation, art and snacks, as well as classtime. There are also follow-up Sundays throughout the year.

We administer our program in cooperation with St. Joseph Parish in Fitchburg.  Their program is the first two full weeks of August, so if your vacation plans are in July, your children may attend the same program at St. Joseph's in  August.
